Dirty Rice

September 5th we experimented with making our next craving for dirty rice.

This first time we made it we used the Gardein chick'n strips. The recipe turned out great and was truly what we wanted.


Since this date we adventured back to makeitdairyfree.com to look and follow this recipe. Traven and I have been working at stepping away from soy due to researching and believing this is something we want to stay away from and it does not have beneficial value for us in the long term use and digestion. We did our research and have started using Abbot's Butcher Plant-Based Ground "Beef" instead of Gardein brand as well as doubling up the sausage (we still use Field Roast sausage).




Dirty Rice is another go-to recipe for us and we have truly perfected it with Abbot's Plant-Based Chicken as well as "Beef" that we use in the recipe or depending on our mood double up the ground beef or the sausage.
